Verve Hotels – our new enhanced hygiene promise
The safety and wellbeing of our guests and teams has always been incredibly important to us and everyone in our hotels should rightly expect a safe, clean and protected environment. The coronavirus crisis has brought this into sharp focus, which is why we have launched a new rigorous, daily cleaning regime across all our hotels.
We seek to give you extra peace of mind so you can book and stay with confidence.
This is what we are doing to keep you and our team safe:
Checking-in and social distancing
Minimising contact and increasing protection at reception with Perspex screens, keeping social distancing measures in place and hand sanitiser dispensers are available at the entrance to the hotels and in public areas.
Hygiene and anti-viral sanitising spray
More frequent cleaning of high-touch areas, such as check-in desk, public toilets, door handles and handrails, tables and chairs with approved disinfectants to the European standard of EN14476, effective against COVID-19. In the bedroom, we are paying extra special attention to cleaning heating controls, TV remotes, light switches, door handles and desks.
We employ every single member of our housekeeping team directly, meaning we can ensure they maintain the highest standards in cleanliness and hygiene training to a high standard. We are also carrying out additional checks on rooms.
Bed linen and shower curtains
Laundering all our linen at over 60 degrees, with disinfectant detergent so you can enjoy a safe and great night’s sleep. We have also removed all extra pillows and we are Laundering our shower curtains after every stay.
Whilst these are all still available, we have removed individual items such as toothbrushes, shaving kits, and single soaps however they are still available upon request from the reception. We have also replaced the water glasses with individually wrapped disposable glasses.
Protective equipment for our team
To protect our team members, we have provided them with PPE equipment including gloves, aprons and hand sanitiser. Whilst there is no government guidance on the need to wear face masks in a hotel setting, all our teams have been provided with face masks, empowering them with the choice if they wish to wear them.
